The first dialogue platform for EU-ASEAN S&T cooperation was held on November 19-20, 2008 in Paris, at the CNRS Headquarters. Over 120 representatives from politics, research organisations and academia attended the conference, with a good representation from Southeast Asia as well as Europe. Discussions were focussed on enhancing the scientific and technological cooperation between Southeast Asia and Europe.
